Switching guide

Switching from Stamp Me

Currently on: Stamp Me · Lite $49 · Pro $79 · Elite $199

Stamp Me starts at $49/month and requires customers to install its app — the single biggest source of drop-off at a busy counter, and the usual reason people look for an alternative.

Short answer

The move removes the customer app entirely: on Bioflow, members join from your public page and their card opens in the browser with nothing to install. Balances carry over manually as customers re-enrol. You lose Stamp Me's wallet passes, SMS campaigns and hardware ecosystem.

What moves, and how

Nothing is imported automatically

Bioflow has no CSV import, no scraper and no bulk link creation. Everything below is manual. For a typical bio page that is about ten minutes of typing.

Customer stamp balances

Preserved manually. Each member re-enrols by scanning your QR, then you adjust their balance to match. One action per customer, no bulk path.

Your program rules

Rebuilt in about two minutes.

What you give up

Listed because a switching guide that only sells the upside is how people end up back where they started, annoyed.

  • Stamp Me issues Apple and Google Wallet passes. Bioflow's cards are web-based — no lock-screen presence.
  • Stamp Me includes SMS campaigns and a hardware line (stamp pods and tags). Bioflow has neither.
  • Members must re-enrol, and there is no bulk import of balances.

The move, step by step

  1. 1

    Export your member list

Names and current stamp counts, while you still have access.

  2. 2

    Create your Bioflow program

Same goal, same reward, so nothing changes for the customer.

  3. 3

    Tell staff the pitch changed

The line is now "scan this, no app needed" — the friction that lost enrolments is gone.

  4. 4

Enrol and adjust as customers visit

Set each balance to match the exported list as they join.

Frequently asked questions

Do customers still need to download an app?

No. That is the main reason to make this move. Members join from your public Bioflow page and their card opens in the browser.

Can I import my Stamp Me members?

No. Balances are carried over by hand as each customer re-enrols. Realistic for dozens of members, laborious for hundreds.

What does Stamp Me do that Bioflow does not?

Wallet passes with push notifications, SMS campaigns, and its own scanning hardware. If any of those are central to how you operate, Stamp Me is the better fit.
