Loyalty program ROI calculator
Most vendor calculators multiply your customers by your ticket and call the result ROI. That counts visits that would have happened anyway. This one asks you for the incremental visit rate, because that is the only number that decides whether the program pays.
The only number that matters, and the one vendors hide. Realistic is 2–8%. Above 15% is a claim, not a forecast.
Marginal cost — ingredients and time, not menu price.
Per month
- Incremental visits
- 30
- Extra gross profit
- $156
- Cost of rewards earned
- −$126
- Bioflow Pro
- −$10
The program pays for itself at these numbers.
An estimate from your inputs, not a forecast. The uplift figure is a guess until you measure repeat-visit frequency before and after — which is the one number worth tracking.
- Runs in your browser. Nothing is sent anywhere and there is no signup.
- Rewards are costed against total visits, not just incremental ones — counting only the extra visits is how these calculators get inflated.
- A realistic uplift is 2–8%. If a vendor's calculator assumes 20% and does not let you change it, that is the number doing all the work.
Frequently asked questions
What uplift should I use?
Between 2% and 8% until you have measured your own. Loyalty programs shift behaviour at the margin, mostly by pulling forward visits that were going to happen — so a figure above 15% is a claim rather than a forecast.
Why does the reward cost more than I expected?
Because rewards are earned on every qualifying visit, not only the extra ones the program caused. A program that lifts visits 5% still hands out rewards on 100% of them.
How do I measure the real uplift?
Track repeat-visit frequency for enrolled customers before and after, not enrolment counts. Enrolments flatter every program ever built; frequency is the number that moves or does not.
Is this tied to Bioflow?
The software line uses Bioflow Pro at $10/month. Swap in whatever you actually pay — the arithmetic is the same and the tool works regardless of which platform you use.
