Switching guide

Switching from Beacons

Currently on: Beacons · Creator $10 · Creator Plus $30 · Creator Max $90

Beacons and Bioflow are less similar than they look. Beacons sells a creator business stack — store, email marketing, media kit. Bioflow sells a link page and a loyalty program for local businesses.

Short answer

Switching from Beacons to Bioflow makes sense if you use Beacons purely as a link page and want a loyalty program. If you use its store, email marketing or media kit, do not switch — Bioflow has none of those and you would be downgrading.

What moves, and how

Nothing is imported automatically

Bioflow has no CSV import, no scraper and no bulk link creation. Everything below is manual. For a typical bio page that is about ten minutes of typing.

Your links

Retyped one at a time.

Your handle

bioflow.io/yourname, subject to availability.

What you give up

Listed because a switching guide that only sells the upside is how people end up back where they started, annoyed.

  • Beacons' store, email marketing, media kit and income dashboard have no equivalent in Bioflow. This is the main reason not to switch.
  • Your email list lives in Beacons. Export it before you leave; Bioflow will not import it.
  • Beacons' free tier is more generous on features than Bioflow's, which caps at 10 links.

The move, step by step

  1. 1

    Check what you actually use

If the store or email tools are load-bearing for you, stop here — Bioflow does not replace them.

  2. 2

    Export your email list

Do this from Beacons before you cancel anything. It cannot be recovered afterwards.

  3. 3

    Create a free Bioflow account

Add your links manually and pick a theme.

  4. 4

    Update your bio link

One field on each social profile.

Frequently asked questions

Does Bioflow have a store like Beacons?

No. Bioflow has no digital product store, no email marketing and no media kit. If you rely on those, Beacons is the better tool and switching would cost you capability.

Why switch from Beacons at all?

One reason: the loyalty program. If you are a local business using Beacons as a link page and want digital stamp cards, Bioflow does both in one account and Beacons does not do loyalty at any tier.

Can I move my Beacons email subscribers?

Not into Bioflow — it has no email marketing to move them into. Export them from Beacons and take them to a dedicated email tool.

If you only need the link page

Free forever, with a loyalty program available when you want it.
